Accommodation
Our accommodation is a charming 3 bedroom character family home, which is a 200 years old converted barn of stone structure in rural countryside approximately 8 miles from L’Aigle in the Orne region of Normandy.( approximately 80 miles South East of Le Havre)

You will stay with us, and thus have every opportunity to ask questions as they arise, and enjoy very personal tuition to suit your needs.

We have one double bedroom, and one bedroom with two single beds, both newly renovated, so clean, warm and comfortable. Towels and bed linen are all supplied. There is one bathroom/shower upstairs and a second shower/WC downstairs.

Breakfast (continental), lunch and dinner, with half a bottle of wine per person are included in the package, and of course cups of tea and coffee to keep you alert at the computer, to enhance your photoshop concentration!

You are most welcome to bring spouses, a partner or friend, whom will be charged at a lesser rate, assuming they are non photographers. (costs are on the dates page). They will obviously be free to do as they please during the day, but we do suggest that they go out with you during your photography mornings, to browse the shops, culture and life in France. However, for the more adventurous who might like to take off alone, we have all the guides to the area, and can recommend a wealth of "things to do". For the quieter folk, we strongly advise they bring some good books or such, as the afternoons will be spent at home working in photoshop.

There is woodland nearby for the keen hiker, who may get restless in the afternoons, and a bar exactly one mile from the house, should they fancy an extra taste of the local calvados! (A French dictionary could be a useful accessory to pack, as we are in a non tourist area, where the art of spoken English is seemingly rare!!). If the weather is kind, there is always a sunny spot in the garden to top up or start a tan, and just enjoy being at one with nature. We can also supply a badminton set for the energetic, petanque (boule), giant Jenga and Swingball for your entertainment.

Our aim is to make you feel welcome, warm and comfortable during your stay, and we truly hope that you will enjoy not only the photography, but also a taster of real France....
